Смертность без лечения является самой высокой среди всех подтипов ишемического инсульта. Во многих случаях острый тромбоз сосуществует с атеросклеротическим стенозом, поэтому нередко требуется лечение обеих патологий в течение одного внутрисосудистого вмешательства. Пациенты, которым выполнена успешная реканализация базилярной артерии, имеют более низкую смертность. Учитывая все опубликованные исследования, смертность при невосстановленном кровотоке в артерии составляет 87% по сравнению с 39% при успешной реканализации. В настоящей статье представлен клинический случай успешного лечения пациента с острой окклюзией базилярной артерии при помощи комбинированного использования механической тромбэктомии с ангиопластикой и стентированием стеноза, явившегося причиной развития закупорки артерии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Mortality without treatment shows the highest rate among all ischemic stroke subtypes. In most cases acute thrombosis coexists with an atherosclerotic stenosis therefore treatment of both pathologies during one intravascular intervention is required quite often. Patients who underwent successful recanalization of the basilar artery have lower mortality rate. Considering all published reports, mortality for not restored blood flow in this artery is 87% vs 39% for successful recanalization.
