CLINICAL TREATMENT FOR ANTERIOR DESCENDING ARTERY THROMBOSIS IN A PATIENT WITH ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME WITHOUT ST-SEGMENT ELEVATION

Abstract

In this article we present a clinical case of successful treatment in a patient with acute coronary syndrome without ST-segment elevation with prolonged non-occlusive thrombosis of the anterior descending artery with means of thromboaspiration and distal protection. We analysed literature sources of a series of studies performed in patients with acute myocardial infarction. In the present clinical case with a formed thrombus in the anterior descending artery we failed to achieve optimal outcomes by performing thromboaspiration. Thrombus formed in a "clear" artery without stenosis was removed with a filter-trap.
